The archive is organized into nine primary aircraft categories: Bombers, Fighters, Reconnaissance and Observation, Transport, Search and Rescue, Trainers, Liaison and Utility, Electronic Warfare, and VIP/Civilian.Visitors may begin by selecting any category to view all aircraft within that classification. Once you select a category to explore, the archive can be further searched by mission role tags. Further search categories will be added in the near future. As you will find, there is a lot of overlap between categories – especially an aircraft’s role in regard to it’s formal purpose.
